What moves a price up or down
The same car can be quoted differently for two trips. These are the usual reasons.
- Rental block
- Every car is priced for a set block of 3, 6, 12 or 24 hours. Compare the hours, not only the figure.
- Season and late nights
- High season and late-night pickups can raise a quote. Ask for the price on your exact dates.
- Long-distance days
- Munduk, Amed or a cross-island day take more fuel and time, so the route changes the quote.
- Booking channel
- Hotel desks often add a markup. Booking directly with the operator avoids it.
